• Beach in Canada, a Pictorial Genealogy ("Beach in  Canada"), written by Mahlon Wickwire Beach and Lois Baldwin, published 1978. From the Forward:

  I want to pay tribute to my sister, Lois, and relate to everyone who reads this genealogy, just who has been responsible for its being.

  My father, Mahlon W. Beach, spent many years gathering data and all the pertinent information he could find. During the latter part of this endeavour he lived with Lois and her husband, Clifton L. Baldwin, in St. Marys, Ontario. She spent countless hours working with him. After he passed away in 1966, his work was stored for ten years -- then she took it entirely on her own and spent many, many hours bringing it to completion.

  My sisters, brother and I feel a great debt of gratitude to Lois for the time and effort she has so willingly devoted and for the determination to see this genealogy completed, as she knew Father would have wished.

  Although Beach in Canada includes all known Canadian descendants of John "The Pilgrim" Beach, this transcription covers only the family of David "The Pioneer" Beach and Phoebe Daniels as shown on pages 282 through 547.

Few primary sources are included with the online data. However, a page number reference to Beach in Canada and/or Brief History accompanies each item of transcribed data, indicating clearly it was not obtained from a primary source. These page number references have also been used to compile a complete name index for the related section of Beach in Canada, which until now has lacked an index.

On the RootsWeb WorldConnect servers, the transcribed data can be flexibly viewed and searched. To protect their privacy, all data on individuals presumed living is hidden. GEDCOM files can be easily downloaded for import into most genealogy programs. Viewers are bringing the data up-to-date with information on current generations; we're identifying and correcting the odd error; and we're "fleshing out" some truncated lines.
